"Everyone is either at work or avoiding the heat, Cyril. Once it starts getting cooler out, you'll meet everyone. Or at dinner. Everyone goes to dinner at least. And I would suggest that you get there early. All meals are served buffet-style, and there's no promise that there's more of one thing or another in the kitchen to be brought out." She never minded though. Every once in awhile she would actually eat, and normally she only picked from the exotic things. No one really ever touched that stuff, and sometimes she actually found something she really and honestly liked. And sometimes she left early so she didn't get sick in front of everyone.
"The town was established way back when the Circo was, or maybe even years afterwords. I don't honestly know, and I'm sorry for that. The Circo's history and the Ringmaster's is very intimately linked, and I don't ask about it." Honestly, she felt as though she didn't have a right to. She normally didn't ask him for anything at all. Not unless she really and honestly needed it. He had saved her when he didn't have to. He had saved everyone else here, and not only saved them, but gave them a home.
Even if they were rude and an ass, like Cyril. Aveira looked to him for a moment. Would he warm up, like another stand-offish freak she knew? For some reason, she didn't think so. There was something there making him act like that, a chip on his shoulder that she didn't think he was ready to let go of. Maybe he would never let go of it... but at least the Circo could keep it from festering too badly. "This town is in the middle of nowhere for a reason, to keep everyone safe. The only real way in or out is the train. It connects us to the outside world, and through it we get the things we can not produce ourselves."
Aveira chuckled and stepped out of the way, allowing the boys to see the tent off in front of them clearly. "And that is the big top. Those who choose to perform in the circus practice there. It's also where major meetings take place if it can not wait until dinner. If you want to make friends, that's the best place to hang out."

At the mention of dinner, Cyril perked up and listened. Free food is good food, even if he had to fight for his favorite meal. If that's the case he'd be more than happy to do so. Getting dinner while exerting dominance didn't seem like such a bad idea after all. "In that case I'm lookin forward to it." He stated in a rather sly tone. His brother slightly nudged him as he was aware of his intentions, and murmured a 'don't worry about it' in response. At Aveira's other answer Cyril looked at her in question. "Safe? Why, is someone gonna try to kill us or something?" He then looked at her with a dangerous smile and half chortle. "This is the 21st century. It's not like people burn others for bein different."
Lyric bit his lip in worry but was quick to look back at Aveira with a smile. "It's fine, please pardon me for prodding." He stated in a ginger tone. As the plaza dedicated for the government neared, Lyric decided to ask less business oriented questions. "What do people do for fun here? Cyril and I have been on the road for the past three years, so we haven't really spent much time doing leisurely things... Are there a lot of people our age?" He asked gently while keeping an eye on the scenery. "Oh, and thank you again for taking us in. I don't know how long we could have survived out there on our own." Cyril then scoffed at his brother's doubt. They had been fine for that long, what's another day or so?
"Seriously man, we can handle ourselves. You know that. We're not here for people to take care of us. If we're gonna stay, it's to hide from people who want to put us in a foster home. Alright?" Cyril's sense of conservation had run out. He was blatant about what had happened, this woman didn't have much of an impact on him, right?
"Okay, Cy."

She was going to ignore Cyril's comments. If he didn't know what happened to those who were different, the things the Circo had had to face, she wasn't going to fill him in. No, let him keep his innocence a little longer. He was cold and angry as it was. "There are many people here around your age. Circo rarely becomes someone's permanent home, like it has become mine. Most of our family are people who have yet to come to terms with their gifts, or those who need time to pick themselves up before they return to the world outside. They always keep a connection with the Circo though, even if it's just calling in to check on the friends they left."
"As for things to do, we have just about everything. There's a library, which is kept very well stocked." Aveira had read quite a few of the books, but that didn't matter. Not many had her reading speed, or could read in as many languages as she did. "And then there is the ranch. If you like animals, you can always go out there. The handlers probably wouldn't mind as long as you asked." Another of her favorite places to go. Animals didn't trigger her powers at all.
"When you're older, there's the pub. I stay away from there, because of my powers, but some people do like it there." She didn't. At all. She normally crossed the street to avoid being anywhere near the place. "And then there is the Watering hole. That's where you'll probably find people more your age, playing in the water whenever school's out."
Had she mentioned school to them? She didn't remember. "We have a school, as well. It just covers the basic stuff. Math, where Germany is in the world, how to read the basic stuff. It's every other week, Monday to Friday, and seven hours. It's really not that bad though. The teachers are just as special as everyone else, and they know how to make class entertaining." Was she going to mention the teacher with a tail of snakes? Nope. Not at all. They could figure that out on their own.
"We're nearing the center of the town now. There's the Big Top, and the Manor. The manor is where you will find most of the staff who work here, including me when I'm not on duty. You're both free to call for me anytime you wish, if you need me. The top floor is completely dedicated to the Ringmaster."

Cyril had once more cut himself off from listening to Aveira. Her lack of care for his mouth had dulled his interest of listening to her. Lyric, of course, was more than interested. He felt a bit of unease about the fact of him having a strictly temporary home. Unlike his brother, he wasn't perfectly content with being a nomad. He just wanted a place to call home so that head live while he could. He still managed to smile at her, despite the conflicting thoughts running through his head. "Well I hope we can make this out home. It'll be nice for Cyril to take it easy for once." He dismissed with a small chuckle, his brother not hearing as his concentration was solely based upon moving ahead. Lyric then kept himself silent as she listed off the places present here. It all sounded great... He couldn't believe this was happening. Maybe he was in a dream still? Were these 'gifteds' really real or apart of his imagination? Who knows. "It all sounds wonderful..." He mumbled half consciously with a small sigh.
At the mention of a school, both of the boys snapped out of their wistful state, one obviously more thrilled than the other. Before Lyric could express his excitement Cyril expressed his dismay. "Well, sh*t." And that was that. He didn't exactly have the energy to go out on another whinny tangent so he kept his mouth shut. With that comment Lyric decided it would be best not to rub in his excitement, so he summed up his emotions with a small 'this is great'.
As the manor and big top came into view, both of the twins seemed rather captivated. "Whup, there it is." Cyril commented dully from Aveira's mention of the circus tie in. From the big top his eyes traced to the looking edifice that was the crown jewel of the entire town. "So, this manor..." Cyril then whistled and chuckled bluntly. "Ringmaster's got it good to have all these people workin for him. Shame the house isn't all his." Notes: Short post is short >.<

Now to introduce them to the Ringmaster. This would either go very well, or they would be creeped out by him. Almost everyone was creeped out by him, at least at first. Everyone, seemingly, except her. He wasn't scary at all. She found his presence relaxing. Then again, no one else had powers that freaked out around everyone except the Ringmaster.
She lead them into the manor, and after a moment paused and looked to them. "It's five stories, and there isn't an elevator. Since you were sick, you might find yourself a little weaker than before. Just tell me to pause and I will, okay?" She figured that was the best way to word it. Give them the chance to ask her to pause, but blaming it on the illness rather than their body.
And so she went up the stairs.

Alabaster splashed against the dark palette of the Victorian-era office lit only by the warm glow of candle flames. Elegant velvet curtains were tightly closed over clear glasses window panes as if to eliminate all sunlight. The room was silent, eerily so. The only sound audible was the slight scratching of feather quill against parchment, held ever so gracefully by a silk-gloved hand. The mad scribbling had ceased for a moment as the writer had paused to relish the absolute silence. The white as snow figure leaned back into a chair, its face revealed to the glorious mural on the ceiling. This man looked as if he was carved out of marble itself. Not an imperfection was present on his milky complexion, nor was an ounce of human normality. Delicate cherub-like curls caressed the young man's face in a manner that further exploited his liquid crimson eyes. These eyes eased slowly to each side of the mural, taking in the scene of the sky touched by heaven. After his mind had sidetracked from the daydream above him, he went straight back to his desired labor.
Hm, yet another addition to his delightful family. In this particular case, the addition was plural. Two new oddities had been admitted to the hospital the following day, though their gift allowed them to serve as one. No matter. The basic guideline of their records had commended, the rest waiting to be filled out in an interview with the people themselves. Ever so faintly a smile touched the man's lips, the feeling of delight easing into him. One of his most trusted employees had been sent forth to await their awakening in the hospital. He hoped that she was taking it well.
Approximately at the point in which his paperwork was finished he heard the employee watching his door proceed to head down the stairs. The man's head tilted slightly, his confusion dissolving once he had heard that the employee had met up with Aveira Sterling. He then heard the employee rush back upstairs, alerting him with a brief sentence-
"Master, Miss Sterling has arrived with the newcomers."
Hm, were they feeling better already? He hadn't been expecting them for another day or so. Aveira knew best, however, and the boys were probably feeling better than the hospital said they were. Looking the female employee dead in her eye he nodded for her to allow them to proceed. The employee, uneasy from his gaze, gulped and nodded in return.
"Please hurry in." The woman responded blankly, immediately pushing past the three and heading down the sectioned-off stairs behind them.

Yuzki was humming slightly to himself in the kitchens. The manor kitchens-were as fancy as a five-star restaurant. Metal tables lined the center of the room, and all kinds of appliances hung from the walls. Yuzki’s reflection was stretched in the silver gaze, as he worked on one of the huge stoves. No one was present in the kitchen currently, except Yuzki. He had just placed a tea kettle on the stove, allowing water to boil. Meanwhile, he chose a gold-tinted goblet from one of the wooden cabinets and set it down on the counter, wiping a cloth over the surface of the goblet.
Yuzki was a tall and thin man; though man wasn’t a word you could call Yuzki. He wore today a black suit with a beautiful black tail-coat over it. A white, crisp shirt stood out under all the black and gold buttons lined down the cuffs of his hands and on the tail of his coat. A name tag with Yuzki was stuck neatly to the left side of his jacket. A gold chain stuck out of his pocket, which led to a beautiful pocket watch from home, his clan. A clan he would never return too, for Yuzki was a criminal to his clan, and would be put to death if found. This was the only reason he was at Circo- and at Circo serving as a pure butler and security assistant to the one and only Ringmaster.
He tightened the white gloves on his hands as he moved the kettle of the stove and poured the water into the goblet and waited a few minutes for it to soak the tea bag he had tossed in. When it was ready, he placed a white cloth over his jacket, in case he spilled it somehow. He picked up a small, silver, circle tray and put the goblet on it.
He lifted it with one hand, still humming and went up the stairs to the Ringmaster’s office. On the way up, Yuzki grabbed the Ringmaster’s top-hat, neatly polished and cleaned. As he passed up the velvet, coated, stairs, a young women whooshed by. The tea jiggled dangerously. ”You almost made me spill my tea.” He looked with pure disgust on his face as she moved back, scared of what she had seen. His crimson, red, eyes flashed once and he blinked heavily before moving upwards.
He went through a small door off to the side, a back entrance to the Ringmaster’s office. He slammed the door open forcibly and went inside, dropping by the Ringmaster’s desk and bent into a bow. ”Good afternoon sire, I have your tea. I know how delicate your diet is.” With a flash of his white glove, he put the goblet down on his desk. Black strands of hair floated over his eyes. ”I also have your hat, recently cleaned by myself. I do hope you like it.” Yuzki placed it next to the tea and moved back, checking his pocket watch, the chain glittering. He looked up to see the newcomers. ”Right on time! Why, hello, welcome to the circus.” Yuzki gave the twins a bow, a sly, snake-like like flashing over his face, a rather strange, unnatural look in his slanted eyes.

Not only was Alistair in the room, but Yuzki as well. Aveira walked in with the brothers, taking a place near enough to be part of the conversation but close to the door as well, should she be excused. "Ringmaster, and Yuzki, I would like to formally introduce Cyril and Lyric. They are feeling better and would love to join the Circo as it's newest members." And then her part was done. She had taken care of the boys, and brought them to Alistair when they had made their choice. If he put her as the boys' counselor... Lyric she didn't mind, but one came with the other.
Maybe they would go to Yuzki. He had done very well with Carter, until he was excused from that duty. Had he ever been given that right back? She didn't know. Aveira smiled a little and looked to the ground, quietly waiting to see what would happen.
Hopefully Cyril would keep his smart-ass mouth shut.

The man in the ornate office chair sat up straight as he delicately brushed off his polished tuxedo. At the ripe age of twenty-three, the Ringmaster seemingly had it all. His mind had temporarily sidetracked when it was announced that visitors were heading up the stairs. Normally, the man would not allow guests without proper permission and an appointment. Those were not his rules but he had to abide by them. Despite being given staff to cater to him and a position of power that could make hordes jealous, he still felt the growing feeling of loneliness. He purposely distanced himself from everyone, being as he was frightened of his potential, not to mention that everybody got the creeps around him.
Two distinct pairs of footsteps clicked up the marble steps, one more uneven and disjointed than the other. Before he could exhale from unease he felt a presence loom behind him that placed a platter on his oak desk. Steam arose from the goblet it was placed in, since it was in fact his afternoon tea. The white man glanced up to see that it was his most trusted private assistant, Yuzki. Just as he opened his mouth to gratify him, the trip had made its way into the lair of the Ringmaster. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ "Sh... Sh*t... This is... A lotta stairs..."Cyril heaved exasperatedly. If he hadn't been knocked out for a few days he wouldn't have been so winded. When the twins made it up the stairs and into the office, Cyril leaned against the door frame and let out a breathless sigh. "Sweet Jesus..." He grumbled, running a hand through his hair to straighten it out. He felt his shoulders become encased by an embrace as his brother wrapped his arms around him for extra support in this crucial situation. As soon as Cyril looked up, his eyes widened as he saw yet two more people with blood colored eyes looking at him. One was standing up and had on an eerily placid face. The one that was sitting down... God, did the room get colder?
Before he had a chance to voice his hesitation, the man in the chair stood up and gently placed his hands on his desk. "Greetings, Miss Sterling. I thank you for attending to these newcomers while they were hospitalized. It is wonderful to hear that they are fairing much better" [/color] The Ringmaster smiled ever so faintly while facing Aveira. Slowly his vision traced over to the twins, who nearly jumped back in their stance. "Cyril and Lyric... What lovely names... It is a pleasure to make your acquaintance... My name is Alistair Pyrewick, and this is my assistant Yuzki Zheng." He indicated to the vampire standing behind him, while he murmured a small 'thank you' for his task at fetching him his tea. Cyril looked at Lyric, who had hugged his brother even tighter out of gut instinct. This man seemed friendly but was somehow... Unnerving. The twins stood at a bent posture, part from their genetics and part for unwillingness to stand tall against these officials. "Oh yeah... Uh, I'm Cyril, and my brother here is Lyric. We, um..." The dominant boy had fumbled with his words and seemingly couldn't get a grip on himself. "Dammit..." He mumbled under his breath, as if in a loss for words. Alistair looked at the boys in slight confusion, his head tilting slightly. "Is there something wrong?" Alistair asked in a chilling voice. As he looked at him he didn't blink once as to never leave their stare. Cyril bit his lip as he tried to at least contain himself of whatever might not be the most appropriate. As he felt uneasy though, there weren't promises as to what he could hide. Well, it turned out that he couldn't keep his trap contained for more than a few seconds. "Damn, could this place be any darker? Nothing says warm welcome like a dark-ass office." He stated bluntly while looking around skeptically. Lyric looked at him in dismay and shook his head. "Excellent choice of words there, Cy." He whispered in his ear, a heavy tone of disappointment in his voice.[/blockquote]

Yuzki gave a short bow again to the Ringmaster. "Of coarse sir." He smiled at him, blinking lazily in the candle glow. "Please, do tell that female assistant of yours to be more graceful, she almost made me spill your tea. He spoke matter-of-factly, as if he just assumed that this is what you would say. He straightened his suit, tugging down slightly and put the pocket watch away.
Yuzki walked over to the conjoined twins and looked them over, as he was quite tall. "Lovely to be of your service and acquaintance." Yuzki said in a long, drawled out, slick voice. If he was startled by the fact they were stuck together, he made no look on his face. If one were to look closer at his eyes, you would almost see a pang of hunger, a longing, a hunting. His red eyes seemed to flash for a second, the black pupils becoming completely consumed by red. "I see you are adjusting well then, I wouldn't have anyone but Aveira- welcome you to the circus." He looked over at her, a twisted smile still on his face.
The boy's seemed to sputter and loose their breath easily in this room, of coarse Alistair was not the most charming character to meet, and could be quite alarming to those not use to his presence. While Yuzki was forbidden to feed on any of the oddities at the circus, it was only instinct for the thoughts of what blood type were these conjoined twins to run through his head, and he might have stared them down a little too long.
He snapped back though at their rude tongues. He brushed back his hair with a flick of his white-glove. He stared at them with pure disbelief- as if he was just personally insulted. "You believe the room is too dark? I must disagree, we have lovely candle glow, saves us hundreds of dollars. I thought the curtains looked lovely with the wooden floor boards, picked them out myself. I would say light the fireplace, but it's the middle of summer."

Cyril was lucky neither Alistair or Yuzki had her temper. That didn't mean, of course, that he could keep running his mouth like that. He was obviously stronger than most humans, having had to support his brother since birth, but he was with the big kids now. There were people here who were stronger than him. There were people here who wouldn't think twice about knocking him out. Not to mention how everyone here had an ability of some sort. Physical strength meant nothing if their opponent could lift them into their air with mind power alone.
But, for now, they were safe. There was a chance that Alistair wouldn't even register that there was something to be insulted about, and Yuzki hadn't gotten angry about it. Only offended, which was actually kind of funny. He got offended as if he was the one who decorated the room. Maybe he was, though. He was the Ringmaster's personal assistant. And body guard. Which was a security detail. which made her his boss in a round-about way.
Which probably meant she shouldn't let him eat the children. Not that he would, of course. Both her and Alistair were in the room, and he really was making great strides in controlling himself. Still, she should probably say something to break the tension before it became something to really start to worry about.
"I'm sorry, Yuzki. They are used to the human world." That would be explanation enough. Humans liked to light up every dark corner they found. It wasn't their fault though. They had horrid eyesight, and were very easy to frighten.
It was funny, how she thought of humans in such a way, as if she /wasn't/ one. She very much was. She had every limitation they did. Sometimes more limitations, because of her body. But, unlike them, she lived in a world surrounded by people like Yuzki. She worked every day to move past her limitations. It was the only way she could be truly deserving of her job here. Otherwise she'd just be some sort of metal detector, screening everyone as they came in and out of Circo.
"The room is very nice."

Cyril watched as the white man mustered no reaction to his blatant scurrilousness. It was... Inhuman. Everyone in this room was. It was quite obvious though that Alistair wasn't. Not even a ginger albino was that pale. That Yuzki guy though? God, he gave Cyril the creeps. He glanced over at the tall man and noticed the sort of stare in his eyes that would be of a repressed psychopath. He looked... Hungry. In a weird kind of way. Cyril immediately made the note of the act that it might be best to avoid him at all costs. Not just because he was a figure of authority, but because he seemed like a threat. "Sorry. Didn't know you were so particular about your interior decorating." Cyril ultimately dismissed without a single care.
"It is alright, Yuzki. I am sure he means well." [/i] Alistair told Yuzki without turning around. He could sense the tension in his voice, and understandably so. Cyril is a testy one, but nothing he couldn't handle. At least he didn't have out-of-control powers that could be dangerous... At least not yet he didn't. "Well, as long as you two are here, it might be beneficial to gather some information while your here, correct?"[/i] The brother that was joined at Cyril's hip slightly twisted from hiding behind his sibling to look at the two men before them. "I'd be happy to answer any of your questions, sir." Lyric offered quietly to him, keeping his eyes to the ground. He looked to Yuzki and mumbled an apology to him for his brother's behavior. Alistair then smiled blandly and nodded every so slightly. "Wonderful. So, Cyril and Lyric, is there a particular reason as to why you two desire to join us? You do not have to answer this question, but the information will be helpful to us."
Cyril looked at his twin, their backs swerving to face each other. What were they going to tell him? Well, they figured he knew that they stumbled on them by chance... So their decision is last second. "Well sir, you see..."
"Where the hell else are we supposed to go?" Cyril answered the question after cutting off Lyric. There. That was a good enough answer. The faster he could finish the 20 questions with creepy man the better.
Alistair simply nodded in response and stared at the two blankly. "I see... That is understandable, then." He responded. After glancing at his associates a question surfaced in his head that deemed crucial. "Miss Sterling, Mister Yuzki, are either of you interested in watching after these two for a few days until they officially become accustomed to our ways?" He asked gently, hoping his intentions for them were clear. He didn't want them to be monitored, just assisted if necessary.
Of course, this wasn't what Cyril had in mind. He immediately became tense, biting his lip. "Sir..." He began in almost a grumble. "I don't need a babysitter. I can take care of myself just fine." His tone was a bit nastier than needed, but anything to get his point across, right?[/blockquote]

Yuzki twirled around, two black tails flapping as he did so. He stood again by the desk, moving at a speed one could only blink at, ah the vampires. Though only two in the room knew he was a vampire, why scare the children? Everything about Yuzki was designed to feed on blood. His speed, his eyesight, his slyness, it was all part of the hunting. Though, that didn't mean he couldn't be polite, professional attitude was everything. "Apology accepted." If he sensed any sarcasm, he choose to ignore it and gave Cyril a small bow, a sign of his position in the circus. Yuzki turned towards Alistair and smiled and gave a small eerie laugh, as if he knew full well they didn't mean well. "No worries sire, I can always send them back to bed." He said with a flash of red eyes and a tilt of his head.
"I'm sorry Yuzki, they are use to the human world. Averia's cool voice drifted over. Yuzki gave a small "hmm" and drifted over to her, the sound of shoes clicking on the ground. "I see." He reached up and pulled the right glove tighter over his hand. He looked down at the conjoined twins with interest. They were a restless two, squirming around. They would fit in nicely, he decided. It was nice to see Averia though, especially helping these two with more patience than she expected. Though he could feel his urges rising, being locked in with a human which offered double the prey in one, sent shivers down his spine. With a small pop, he felt his fangs fall down, two pointed canines, with one sole purpose. He ignored it though, however they would be visible when he talked. He could control himself, he managed during the day, proving to be an excellent body guard.
Yuzki looked over at Alistair. "As you wish good sir." Suddenly he was standing behind the conjoined twins, faster than any human should move. "Who knows, you might learn a thing or two here." He spoke in a sky voice, and curled smile fell around his face, as he looked down at Cyril and Lyric.

This wasn't going to go well at all. It was clear Cyril did not like Yuzki. He didn't like anyone, except his brother. It was true that Yuzki did well with people like Cyril, but he had also made Carter dependent on him. She remembered very well how she nearly had to hurt the poor boy to get him away from the blood-drunk vampire. "Sir, it's not too much trouble for me to continue to watch over them. If Yuzki does not mind, of course." If he wanted to take the twins, she wasn't going to get in his way.
She didn't much like Cyril either.
So it was up to the Ringmaster, as most things were. Give them to the vampire who couldn't sit still and was clearly creeping the poor boys out, or the girl who was far more likely to run them out of the Circo just to not deal with them. Cyril wasn't going to be soothed as easily as Carter was, and even now Carter still got on her nerves.
Aveira looked to the boys. "It's not babysitting. Everyone here at the Circo is different, and sometimes those differences clash. So everyone normally have someone to look out for them the first few days as they are getting settled in, and everyone in this building, as well as the school, are more than qualified and able to help you afterwords, should you need it."

Now, as if it were a psychic twin connection, both of the twins agreed to themselves that Yuzki made them apprehensive as anything. Was he trying to scare them? Cyril didn't show it as much as Lyric, who's grip around his brother's shoulder tightened immensely. Props to him, though- he still kept a simple smile upon his face. Just as he tried to calm himself down a little, Yuzki had begun to bring out what truly set him apart from others. He began to move around the room at incredible speeds, which was the first act of inhuman behavior that they have both seen since coming to the circus... And ever.
Cyril looked at Yuzki with wide eyes, suppressing a look of disgust. Did he think this was a game? Scare the boys who literally just came here as much as possible? Cyril didn't care as much for himself as Lyric. As much as Cyril loved himself and his nasty behavior, Lyric did not. He wasn't a man to be swayed by the opinions of others but damn it he wasn't going to let people treat his brother the same way he treated him.
When the vampire swooped up to go behind him Lyric nearly jumped a mile, if he could jump in the first place. Though he wasn't much of a coward, his instincts forced him to always be on edge due to the fact he couldn't rely on himself for survival. He shakily looked upwards at Yuzki, who, by the grace of god, also had fangs. He gulped and forced a better smile, saying shakily "I c-can hardly wait, sir."
With that, Cyril decided he would say something in regards of his 'caretaker'. As soon as Aveira began to start her sentence, Cyril butted in over her and yelled "Yeah that's a great idea okay Aveira you should watch over us yep that's my decision and I'm sticking to it.". He didn't like Aveira. He didn't like Yuzki. He didn't like Alistair. Hell, he just hated all figures of authority. At least Aveira didn't look like she was about to gobble him up.
Alistair in response smiled a slightly wider smile and nodded in return. "Wonderful. Miss Sterling, I thank you for offering your services to them. Yuzki, I sincerely am grateful for your offer." He concluded in a chilled yet somewhat pleasant tone. "Now..." He started, opening a finely carved drawer from his black oak desk to pull out a few papers. "I am going to ask you two to sign a disclaimer that states your agreement to swear loyalty to our circus in about a week... Oh! Before I say that, I believe it may be crucial that we run some conduct by both of you before you go off to explore. Is there anything you two know of that should be explained immediately?" Alistair then looked up to his employees for an answer. The honesty, kept secret by him, was that he did not know much of what was important and what was not when it came to the circus. He had a status quo to fill and knew nothing past it.
