Full name: Paxxton-Jay Rueben Umberman
Nickname: P.J. or Peej.
DOB/Age: November the 22nd, 1995. Seventeen years of age.
Gender: Male
Oddity: Unknown to him, PJ is a synthetic life form, though he refers to himself as a gifted. Ever seen that movie The Invisible Man? Well, that's him alright. PJ is invisible in the most literal sense- His physical body is present and yet its appearance is unknown. He's just as conspicuous as air and yet a genuine being like you or I.
Abilities: Though PJ isn't viewable on most bases, with a simple touch of any surface and deep concentration he can mimic the texture and properties of the surface. If he touches a basketball his skin can become the tough, bumpy, rusted orange texture that the ball possesses. His insides stay in tact yet mimic the interior of whatever he had touched, which in the previous instance would be air. Limitations to this ability extend to the durability of his new form, which only is as strong as the object itself, and the amount of concentration it takes to grasp the object's design. In other words, he's not risking a migraine and the susceptibility of him popping just for a party trick. He cannot also copy human skin, and the transformation only covers the surface of himself. This means the details of his eyes, birthmarks, et cetera will not be copied.
Oh, and he's rather good with a camera as well.
Appearance: Well, when his surface is copied, three aspects are evident: He's 6'4", he possesses a well toned build, and his hair is always kept in a 1940's-esque pompadour style. All other physical information about him is unknown.
Attire: As hinted PJ is quite fond of the 40's.Though he admittedly walks around stark naked the majority of the time, he does wear clothes that reflect this era. He usually wears slacks with a sweater vest, semi formal suit, or jeans with a WWII bomber jacket. Whenever it is hot outside he goes with shorts and a button up. Despite his particular taste in fashion he barely ever wears shoes, as he does quite enjoy being barefoot.
His outfit for performing is that of a classic mime. The color scheme of the entire outfit is black and white, with the exception of his red neckerchief- Black pants, black shoes, white body paint, white gloves, a black-and-white striped T-shirt, temporarily dyed black hair, and a black beret.
Detailed personality: PJ is pretty much your average goody-two shoes. He's great with his pleases and thank you's, almost always smiles and is so peppy you'd think he was made of sunshine itself. His mind is filled with the morals his parents had drilled into him- Respect your elders, say your prayers before bedtime, do as you are told and treat people the way you want to be treated. These guidelines have led him to be the overall happy person he is today, which has unfortunately brought forth some issues. He wants happiness for absolutely everyone and tries way too hard to see the good in them. Because of this he allows people to do whatever they want to him without a complaint. He goes completely out of his own way to make others' lives happier, often getting made the fool of in the end. Gullibility with the combination of his odd brand of self esteem has led him to become a glutton for punishment, in which he takes all the blame for. Seriously, count how many times he apologizes for something that has nothing to do with him. He hates knowing that people can hold grudges against him so he usually keeps his mouth shut when threatened. Being that he is not all that masculine, it's reasonable to say that it happens often.
Overall PJ is your easily excitable, eager to please sap. Though he does wish to believe that everyone is his friend he knows who truly are and would do anything for them. Despite his ditzy flaws and too-dreamy-for-a-normal-boy behavior, he can step up to the plate when needed to defend... Not himself, of course.
Birthplace: Unknown, born and raised in rural Ohio.
History: PJ's creation begins as one of a mystery- All everyone knows is that on a summers eve eighteen years ago a bundle of seemingly empty blankets had been placed upon the doorstep of some unsuspecting middle aged married couple who had resided on a cattle farm. The couple would have dismissed the abandoned knock on the door and the odd pile of fleece blankets if it hadn't been for the soft crying of what seemed to be an infant. The wife had picked up the blankets and immediately released a startled reaction at the fact of the blanket's weight. Despite their bewilderment the couple took the invisible infant inside to decide what they were to do with the odd creature. They knew that wherever it had come from the previous owners were trying to get rid of it, so they decided it would be best to keep the unnatural baby. After a brief amount of time the couple had grown fond of the child, found to be a male, and named him Paxxton-Jay after the husband's father. Despite the difficulties that the couple had raising him the two treated him as if he was their own son. PJ's life of eight years with them abruptly ended, as whoever had owned him before wanted him back. Badly.
Threatening letters quickly became small arson attacks, which cumulated into a single massive raid rather quickly. The house he had grown up in was burned to the ground, his parents unable to escape the devastation. Consumed by guilt, PJ ran away from his former birth home, forcing him to wander as he tried to find a new home. Since he was at that age where he only knew the basics of taking care of himself his health dwindled quickly. If it hadn't been for the bright circus lights that drew his childlike self in like a moth to a flame, PJ would had most likely perished.
Occupation: Perfomer-Entertainment-Mime: PJ entertains the crowd as a mime while utilizing his invisibility. After pleasing the crowd with multiple stunts and gags, PJ dumps water on himself to dissipate completely, leaving only his clothes behind.
Relationship status/Orientation: Single, He is currently questioning this himself.
Additional information: He owns a sable collie named Loretta. He's had her since she was a puppy.
